Boss Movie Reviews From All the Major Sources on Internet:

Rajiv Masand from CNN IBN
says,” The problem here is that despite making those concessions – the
movie requires that you apply neither common sense nor taste – ‘Boss’
is still a pretty forgettable film.”

Mihir Fadnavis writes for Firstpost, “Dammit, I’m moaning about the lack of a plot while writing about an Akshay Kumar film titled Boss – look at my effrontery.”

Prathamesh Jadhav for Bollywwod Life
says,”The ultimate Khiladi of B-town carries the occasionally
entertaining movie on his strong shoulders. Watch Boss if you must,
only for Akki’s histrionics, his spot-on comic timing and above all,
his impossible-to-replicate action moves”

Mohar Basu (Koimoi) does not think Boss is completely miss-able. Basu writes, “Boss is an exceedingly noisy film and yet is tremendous fun in parts.”

Shilpa Jamkhandikar for Reuters India wrote,“There
are some movies that are worth your time and money and the effort of
writing about them. And then there are movies like “Boss.”

Shubha Shetty Saha for Mid-day.com says,”If dishum-dishum gets your adrenalin pumping harder, if high-in-the-air kicks give you a kick, may be you have a reason to be in the theatre watching ‘Boss'”

Film analyst Rohit Khilnanai writes for India Today, “The posters and the promos of the film make it clear that Boss is a masala film. And going by the recent trend, for masala films, all that’s needed is a “filmi” hero, cars flying around and some nach gaana. Akshay Kumar looks good and is entertaining; in fact, he is the saving grace of this mindless entertainer.”

Film critic Nandini Ramnath writes for Livemint,“The
only name that matters in the list of credits is Anal Arasu, the action
director who comes up with new ways to bash in people’s heads, crush
their limbs and contort their bodies beyond recognition.”

Saibal Chatterjee (NDTV) agrees :“Aditi
Rao Hydari, however, is a complete misfit in this male-dominated
landscape. She possesses a natural feminine grace and this film has no
space for any such nicety. In one scene, her boorish, misogynistic
brother advises the girl to stay indoors and watch television. “Tata
Sky has 200 channels,” he tells her. “If you, too, have a DTH
connection, stay home and watch AXN.”

Renuka Vyavahare from Times of India
says, “A remake of 2010 Malayalam film, Pokkiri Raja, Boss is a
formulaic action comedy. There are truckloads of stunts throughout and
whatever falls in between constitutes the plot so don’t expect logic.”
