Jatt James Bond – Gippy Grewal’s Punjabi Movie Review:
Jatt James Bond is a story of three Friends Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Yashpal Sharma who are in awful and hopeless economic conditions. Shinda as Gippy Grewal is a school bus driver in love with beautiful daughter Laali (Zareen Khan), sister of a Local Bank Manager. Vindu Dara Singh is playing the role of Brother of Zareen Khan who is solely against the pair because of dreadful economical condition of Gippy Grewal.
Yashpal Sharma and Gurpreet Ghuggi are also facing the same problems. Gippy Grewal advises to attempt a robbery to earn some quick money. They accomplish the looting well but cave in another trouble with the local Gunda who has a claim on the robbed money. Subsequently their troubles starts which will mess their misfortunate lives even more.
The script of the movie is written by Jas Grewal is unique and good in comparison to the other Punjabi movies being released these days. It is based on a novel which was in turn inspired from real life. Director Rohit Jugraj has been unable to carry out the idea utterly. Though the movie is reasonably satisfactory, still it could have been made more effective.

Gippy Grewal is adequate in his act. Gurpreet Ghuggi and Yashpal Sharma have also played averagely well. Mukesh Rishi looks inflicting in his negative role but fails to win over with his acting skills. The music of the movie is composed by Maestro Mukhtar Sahota (Rog Pyaar De Dilan Nu – Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Jis Tan Nu Laggdi Aye – Arif Lohar), Surinder Rattan and Jatinder Shah. Overall, Film seems better than Diljit Dosanjh’s Disco Singh; 4 stars out of 5 for Jatt James Bond!
