Music Review: There are total 9 tracks in the Album with 2 repeats of same track.
Album features Big Names Like Sonu Nigam, Kamal Khan, Shweta Pandit and Master Saleem.
Music to the Album is composed by Two Legends Mukhtar Sahota and Gurmeet Singh. Every punjabi in the world knows the name of Gurmeet Singh. He is indeed the living legend of Punjabi Music Industry. In his 15 years musical career he has recorded and made all Artists Like Master Saleem, Mika Singh, Sonu NIgam, Sonu Kakar, Sabarkoti, Kaler Kanth, Inderjit Nikku , Jaspinder Narula, KS MAkhan, Mohd Irshad, Navraj Hans, Yuvraj Hans, Navraj Hans Etc, And I have No words for Mukhtar Sahota. Once He was the Leader of Best Punjabi Band Name ‘Sahotas’ and We still misses that beautiful era of Punjabi Band Music. Heera Group was also active then. Mukhtar Sahota is the Man Behind Hits Like Haada Ni Maahi Kyun Nahin Aaya, Munde Pi Pi Ke Desi, Teri Meri Gall Ban Gayi and A long row of Hits in Vocals of Surjit Sahota. He introduced Man Like Arif Lohar to the rest of world with 21st Century Jugni. Also he did awesome tracks with Lakhwinder Wadali. Well that is not the part of discussion, move to the review of album.
The title Track named Heer N Hero is sung by Geeta Zaildar and same track is recorded in Vocals of Gurmeet Singh. Heer N Hero by Geeta Zaildar is somewhat clear than that of Gurmeet Singh, though Vocals of Gurmeet Singh seems fine, as per quality of singing.
A well known name for sad songs lovers, owns a unique voice quality, Ranjit Rana has sung ‘Haule Haule Pyar’ which is not of Sad Genre this time. Two Romantic duets are included in the album, first one by Shweta Pandit and Kamal Khan entitled ‘Heeriye’ and Second is ‘Dil Nal Dil’ by Master Sonu Nigam and Ankita Sachdev. Both the tracks are great and pleases the heart. Especially Sonu Nigam never selects bad lyrics for himself and always gives his cent percent. Beat Song ‘Heer te Hero Marda Ai’ by Lehmber Hussainpuri would definitely rock the Dance Floors. Lehmber always earns points in his song, and it is in top songs chart by the day of release.
‘Lak Tunu Tunu’ is a peppy song by Master Saleem and Miss Pooja. Actually song is a big part of Miss pooja and Master Saleem just rhymes in the last lines, ‘Main keha maalko sataaya na karo’ just as he did in ‘Teri Kihne Khich Layi, Patang Wali Dor’ along with Sunidhi Chauhan in Movie ‘Sirphire’, still he would have charged more than Miss Pooja :$
‘Hurrey’ by Etch B is, i think, just a step from the producer to save his money. Computerized Voice, but music is okay which makes it okay okay. Last track we are taking is ‘Ullu da Patha’ by Labh Janjua is nice, contains dhol beat and folk singing style of Labh Janjua, presents the traditional way of punjabi singing from start and becomes faster and beat-rich in the middle. Lyrics are funny true,”Ullu da Patha Jehda Bhangra Na Paawe”.
MuzicMag Rating: Makes it a better music album in comparison to Ishq Garaari.
