Navi Kamboz is a talented lyricist, debuted with Track ‘Prem Kahani’ sung by Gill Ranjodh. Track was released in album ‘Panj-Aab Vol. 1’ featuring Ranjit Bawa, A Kay, Gill Ranjodh etc. under music label T-Series. Album have been nominated in the best Music Album category for PTC Punjabi Music Awards 2014. Recently team MuzicMag met Navi Kamboz for a Brief Interview.

MuzicMag: The introductory question, those who don’t know you – How you’ll introduce yourself to them?
Navi: Myself Navi Kamboz, belongs to Ferozpur, Punjab. I am a visionary songs writer, composing and singing my songs too. I have been in this field since 2011, but writing from my teenage…
MuzicMag: What was your First Project?
Navi: Last year, in April My written Song “Gill Ranjodh – Prem Kahani” 1st Single released from T-series,a popular romantic track which was the stepping stone for us.

MuzicMag: Why are you in this field ? What initially inspired you to become a lyricist?
Navi: As a kid I was interested in reading literature before I discover I had writing talent. the creative element was there and it needed an outlet and music was the best outlet I could find.. and now I am here in Punjabi music industry.
MuzicMag: Tell us aboout the Role of your family behind your stand. What did your family do to encourage you?
Navi: Parents are usually worried when their child is pursuing something that no other from the family. but I made sure that I complete my education(M-tech from technical university) so that I get trust before I choose what I love doing. Now also doing job as Lecturer in SUS engineering college,Chd. and persuaded my career in the music field.
MuzicMag: How do you see your next 10 months, what are you going to do?
Navi: there are few too many to count. in next 10 months,i m seeing myself releasing my songs worldwide. Coming this year with various music directors ( Muzical Doctorz, Vibhas, Mr. Vgrooves, Desi Routz and many more).

MuzicMag: What does music means to you?
Navi: universal language, that touches people emotions. I write what I feel and then composed it into melody. my music describes my life,my vision,my passion,my experiences.
MuzicMag: Tell us about your three positive and three negative traits?
1. Try to stay positive always

MuzicMag: What big names in music industry you look to for inspiration, whose work has influenced you most?
Navi: Kuldeep Manak, Manmohan Waris, Raj Kakra, Amrinder Gill
MuzicMag: Did you encounter failure on your journey?
Navi: Yes, number of times, you learn more from your failures than success, now the struggle is over and am working hard and harder to achieve my goals.
MuzicMag: Which Indian singer or an International Singer you’ll like to collaborate with ?
Navi: Manmohan Waris, Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, Amrinder Gill
MuzicMag: Can you talk about a fan that completely took you by surprise?
Navi: A rap star Kay Kap, searching me and my contact more than one year to work with me.

Navi: Aamir khan, Diljit, Priyanka Chopra,Japji Khaira.
